Normally, there's never anything newsworthy about my life.

-NARRATOR: And for a moment, Mrs. Huber stood motionless in her kitchen
grief-stricken by this senseless tragedy.

-BREE: These need water.

-NARRATOR: BREE sobbed quietly in the bathroom for 5 minutes.

-GABRIELLE: Its dark, you just can’t see that the lawn has been mowed.

-CARLOS: It hasn’t been. Feel this grass.

肯定沒(méi)有,你摸摸看啊。
-GABRIELLE: I’m not feeling the grass!

Let’s just get going, come on! We’re late!

-CARLOS: Take care of it.

小心點(diǎn)。
-VALET: Yes, sir.

-CARLOS: There’s Tanaka. Time for me to go into my dance.
 it is time for sb. to: 是時(shí)候某人干… go into: 進(jìn)入(某種狀態(tài))
Tanaka在那,該是我上場(chǎng)的時(shí)候了。
-GABRIELLE: Good luck, sweetheart.
 sweetheart: 甜心 
好運(yùn),甜心。
-GABRIELLE: Oh, excuse me.

-WAITER: Ma’am?
 ma’am: 夫人

-GABRIELLE: You see that man who just walked away?
 walk away: 走開(kāi)

Can you make sure he has a drink in his hand all. night. long.
make sure: 保證 
你能不能保證今晚他手中一直有酒?
-WAITER: Yes, ma’am.

-MRS. HUBER:  Susan? Susan!

-SUSAN: Oh. Mrs. Huber, how you doing?

-MRS. HUBER:  Not too well, I’m afraid. I’m trying to find something to soothe my stomach.

-SUSAN: It’s upset?

-MRS. HUBER:  Yeah, I had the worst macaroni and cheese at the wake,

it’s been running through my system ever since.

-SUSAN: Oh.

-MRS. HUBER:  And I need to be at my best tonight.
 at one’s best: 處在最佳狀態(tài)

Edie Britt’s son is spending the night tonight.

-SUSAN: He’s spending the night?

-MRS. HUBER: Apparently, Edie is having a gentleman friend over on dinner,

and I think she plans on entertaining into the wee hours, if you know what I mean.

-MRS. HUBER:  Oh, here’s some antacid. Have you ever tried this…?

-SUSAN: I can’t believe it. This can’t be happening.

Mike can’t like Edie better than me, he just can’t!
...Mike 怎么會(huì)喜歡 Edie . 不可能。
-JULIE: I don’t know what’s going on. Maybe they’re just... having dinner.
 maybe: 可能,也許
你還不知道到底怎樣,也許他們只是共進(jìn)晚餐。
-JULIE: You’re right. They’re doing it.
你說(shuō)的對(duì),或許只是這樣。
-SUSAN: Edie? Hello..?
Edie?
-SUSAN: Anybody home? I need to borrow sugar?
?有人在家么? 我想借點(diǎn)糖。
-EDIE: [OS] Oh! Oh my god!
!上帝!
-NARRATOR: And just like that, the possibility that Susan had clung onto, the maybe of Mike Delfino was gone forever.
 possibility: 可能性 clung: cling的過(guò)去式,堅(jiān)持 
就像這樣, Susan堅(jiān)信的一點(diǎn)可能性,Mike Delfino,完全沒(méi)有了。
And despite the precariousness of the situation, Susan took a moment to mourn her loss.
despite: 盡管 precariousness: 不穩(wěn)定 situation: 局面

Paramedics say she was lucky, she could’ve been killed!
paramedics: 救護(hù)人員 lucky: 幸運(yùn)的
救護(hù)人員說(shuō)她很幸運(yùn),她差點(diǎn)被燒死了。
-LYNETTE: She was having sex with some guy when the fire started.
 have sex with: 做愛(ài)
她赤裸裸的跑了出來(lái),起火的時(shí)候她正和人做愛(ài)。
-GABRIELLE: What happened to him?
 happen to: 發(fā)生在身上
那人怎樣了?
-LYNETTE: He got smoke inhalation, he’s at the hospital.
 inhalation: 吸入 inhalation: 吸入
他吸了不少煙,現(xiàn)在在醫(yī)院。
-SUSAN: Oh..
哦。
-BREE: Susan, are you alright? You look awful
 alright=all right:  awful: 糟糕的
Susan,你還好吧,你臉色很差。
-SUSAN: I’m fine. I’m fine. I just feel really bad for Edie.
我沒(méi)事,沒(méi)事,我...我只是....Edie感到難過(guò)。
-GABRIELLE: Oh, don’t worry about Edie. She’s a strong lady.
 worry about: 擔(dān)心
,寶貝,不用擔(dān)心Edie. 她是個(gè)很強(qiáng)的女人。
-LYNETTE: Absolutely. She’ll get through this. She’ll find a way to survive.
 get through: 穿過(guò),度過(guò) survive: 生存的
絕對(duì)的,她會(huì)渡過(guò)這些的,她能渡過(guò)的。
-BREE: We all do.
我們都會(huì)。
-GABRIELLE: Come on.
走吧。
-MIKE: Wow, what happened?

-SUSAN: Mike!

-NARRATOR: And suddenly, there he was, like a phoenix rising from the ashes.

突然,他出現(xiàn)了,就像鳳凰浴火重生。
-SUSAN: I, I thought you were... um. Where were you?
......我以為...,你去哪里了?
-MIKE: I just got back from the movies. Edie had a fire, huh?

-SUSAN: Yeah. Yeah, but she’s fine now. Everything’s fine now.

-NARRATOR: And just like that, Susan was happy.

Life was suddenly full of possibilities.

-SUSAN: I brought some champagne. I thought we should all have a toast.
 champagne: 香檳 toast: 干杯

-NARRATOR: The next day, my friends came together to pack away my clothes,

-LYNETTE: What’re you doing? That’s private.

-SUSAN: What does this mean?

-LYNETTE: I don’t know, but check out the postmark.

-BREE: Oh my god, she got it the day she died.

-GABRIELLE: Do you think this is why she...?
你覺(jué)得這會(huì)不會(huì)就是她自殺的原因...
-NARRATOR: I’m so sorry, girls. I never wanted you to be burdened with this.
